They have figured out all of the things and are serving pure perfection at this point.
Straight up‽ They have WAY MORE than just great pies ya'll! Like for REALZ! They have done what any of my followers will know is "do a few things and do them well!". This is their jam!
Friendly amazing folks serving up feel good thoughtful foods right out of their love for making it into your soul's belly.
Not to mention I just adore them. Please support this most amazing addition to our neighborhood up here off Interstate and work your way through the menu. -

Have you visited this food cart yet? What are you waiting for? The owners are incredibly kind and generous, it's no surprise they've created something so wonderful!
Even though my partner and I arrived just before they closed, the folks at Gypsy Pie Cart went above and beyond in trying to make us feel welcome. We ordered... they quickly set about making our food... and it was delicious. Pure and simple. We thoroughly enjoyed the Banh Mi, Macaroni and Cheese, and two different kinds of pie. Everything was perfection.
I'm happy to make the trek across town for Gypsy Pie Cart anytime! -

You come from far away
With Portland in your eyes
Of small batches and comfort
In the food that makes the sunrise
Your cart is the cathedral
Where picnics are the prize
We neighbors know each other now
As part of the whole design
Oh, roll Pie like a Gypsy
That one would call unique
Chrispy Skins invite you
And let you feel good through the heat
You have a Jamaican Pie tribute
In that Scotch Bonnet simmer
The whimsy on your menu
Denies the number of your years
With the Chicken of the Potpie
And the Herb Stuffing cubes
The arranger of disorder
With your strange and simple foods
And please do not hurriedly cook for me
Assuredly, I will wait
And you will hear yourself in song

Really good food, nice people, and good service. All earmarks of a successful cart. Not a huge menu after all it is a cart, but there is enough to choose from and there are other carts in the pod. The meatloaf sandwich was great and the mac and cheese wonderful. The chicken pot pie was good, and that comes into why only 4 stars. The filling was creamy and tasty but the crust was hard and more cracker like than pie. That may be how they do it and it works for them but doesn't fit my expectations. Even saying that I know we will be back in the future. P.S. they threw in some of their potatoes which were also very nice!

It feels a little strange to write a review for a pie cart when I didn't actually have any pie but...I did have a pretty stellar burger experience!
This very hearty and very juicy burger hit all the right (tasting) notes. The accompanying fried herbed potatoes were an absolute delight as well!
I snagged a couple of the salted tahini triple chocolate chip cookies which were a special menu item and incredibly scrumptious. Really, I don't have a bad thing to say.
The service was friendly and quick and I look forward to my next visit when I will definitely get something in the pie realm!
